While most dads were busy rebelling with Cassian Andor in a galaxy far, far away, I found myself deep in the chaotic office life of Matt Remnick - the freshly appointed boss of the Continental Studios. Remnick’s battle isn’t fought in space, but in studio hallways and production meetings - and it’s just as high-stakes and, unlike any rebellion, very-very funny. It’s Seth Rogen, after all - the guy behind much of the 2000s comedy boom, and clearly still in top form when it comes to delivering a good show. But this one isn’t just about laughs - it’s a love letter. To craft, to creativity, and to the magic of cinema itself. You can tell the folks behind this show really loved what they were doing - and hey, that kind of attitude isn’t something you see all that often these days. Need more proof? Just look at the old-school Hollywood buffet of cameos - this is a pun, which is fully intended, but you need to watch the series for yourself . It’s a parade of legends, topped off by none other than Martin Scorsese - and don’t worry, that’s not a spoiler, he’s right there in the trailer:

I watched the final episode late at night, long after the kid had drifted off, and let me tell you - I had to fight hard not to wake him up with the kind of laugh that sneaks out even when you’re trying to be a grown-up.

If you're a dad who appreciates a good, well-made movie, you have to watch this one.

Seriously, make time for it.
